Experienced horsewomen, dedicated teachers and the people who make Topping Farm feel like home.
Mercedes began her career at Toppings with Anne Aspinall and has dedicated more than 40 years to horses. She has trained riders from their beginner stages through horse-show championships and has managed the farm for more than a decade.
Carli holds a B.S. in Equine Science from Virginia Tech and rode on both the IHSA Hunter Team and open show team. She has spent many summers at Topping teaching riders of all ages both riding and horse management.
Dannie is part of the Topping Farm training team, supporting riders and horses across the farm’s year-round program.
